The Mergui Archipelago and Burma Banks form one of Southeast Asia’s most remote liveaboard diving regions. This 7-night itinerary ventures far offshore into the northern Andaman Sea, exploring largely uninhabited islands and seamounts where pristine reefs and a rich marine ecosystem have evolved with minimal human influence. Uncrowded dive sites, dramatic underwater topography, and a strong sense of isolation combine to deliver a truly immersive and memorable liveaboard experience.

Maps & Itinerary
Diving conditions in Myanmar can often be challenging, but rewarding. Due to their isolated and exposed location, there can be strong currents and reduced visibility due to an influx of nutrients at certain dive sites which may make the diving unsuitable for inexperienced divers or those who have not dived in similar conditions before.
Day 1: Thailand exit formalities are carried out at the immigration office in Ranong followed by embarkation, lunch, and briefings. These are followed by a short crossing to Kawthaung for Myanmar immigration entry formalities after which Thailand Master will cruise into the archipelago.
Days 2 – 6: Your Cruise Director will schedule up to 4 dives per day; 3 day dives and, where possible, a sunset or night dive. A typical diving day is scheduled as follows:
- Light Breakfast followed by a briefing & Dive 1
- Full Breakfast, relaxation followed by briefing & Dive 2
- Lunch, relaxation followed by briefing & Dive 3
- Snack
- Briefing for Dive 4, where possible
- Dinner
Day 7: We usually schedule 2 morning dives for the last full day on board followed by an afternoon beach visit and snacks at Horseshoe Island before the vessel returns to Kawthaung.
Disembarkation Day: Following breakfast on board and immigration clearance out of Myanmar, disembarkation is scheduled for between 08:30 and 09:00 am, after which you will visit the Immigration Office in Ranong to obtain an entry stamp back into Thailand before departing on your transfer.
